I discovered her in the brilliant series “Les Gouttes de Dieux” – which has just started broadcasting on France 2 – and she will very soon be one of the main roles in the series “Rivages” for which she has just finished filming.
Fleur Geffrier is an actress and she had to fight to get there. When she was younger, she suffered from school bullying and found refuge in the theater which allowed her to feel free.
After a few pitfalls along the way, she finally managed to join the school of her dreams, Cours Florent, like her model, Audrey Tautou.
After suffering numerous failures, the much-deserved success is just around the corner. A cover of Madame Figaro later, here she is invited to the microphone of Poing Fort where she does us the honor of sharing her life lessons with us.

MARGAUX: What type of little girl were you?
FLOWER: I had two faces when I was little. At home, I was very bossy. I knew what I wanted. At school, it was very different, I had more difficulty finding my place and it was difficult because there was something that didn't actually fit with the others and that put me out of step. Children are quite cruel to each other as soon as we are a little bit different, whether physically, whether through our choices, our tastes, our lives, our families, our parents, our clothes. I really liked taking refuge in reading, in films, in art, but especially in cinema. I watched a lot of movies with my parents.

MARGAUX: Was there a figure you wanted to look like when you were little?
FLEUR: When I was little, it’s true that my mother fascinated me a lot. Then, there was the actress Audrey Tautou in “Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain”, a film which plunges into a slightly romanticized universe, fantasized about a postcard Paris. Shortly after, I saw an interview with her when I was 12. She talked about the Florent classes, her career, how she got there.
I said to myself... "I would love to do that but it's impossible, Paris is so far but my god I'll never get there but I would love so much". When I returned to the Florent class I remembered this moment, even though I had completely forgotten this passage of doubt.

MARGAUX: How did this role (of Gouttes de Dieux) come to you?
FLOWER: Thanks to Agathe Hassenforder who was the casting director. I was filming at the time. I read the script, I imagined myself in the role, it was pretty crazy. What did I like? The fact that it's adapted from a manga and that it takes place a bit in Japan, the fact that it's about wine. I also found the character resembled me. There were sides of her that were quite disturbing: the strong woman side, the spontaneous side, her determination, the fact that she was also a little lost. That wasn't really my case but I was at one point in my life. I found her very touching, funny and sunny and I liked her. To pass the castings, I had 3 days to learn 15 pages of casting text in French and English.
